Major Wireless Carrier — Countertop Display

Opportunity:

When a major wireless carrier was ready to market its new home internet service, IDD was called on by this legacy client to engineer, manufacture, kit, and ship an in-store destination display to educate consumers. The display needed to fit in different store types across 7,500 locations. Plus, 700 of those stores had a different aesthetic requiring a woodgrain base instead of the standard acrylic. The company’s distinctive brand color also needed to be a prominent feature, and the project needed to be completed on a tight timeline—eight weeks.

Solution:

Based on the client’s design, IDD engineered and produced several multi-material prototypes to test fit and finish across all formats. Once approved, IDD manufactured the displays, fulfilled them with tools and instruction letters, provided inventory management and logistics, and shipped them to 7,500 corporate and authorized dealer stores.
