InStore Design Display continues to grow. We are thrilled to announce the addition of Cheryl Myers as a project manager. Cheryl brings more than 20 years of expertise in project management. She manages all the details and ensures the quality of projects, especially those that involve printing and kitting of displays.
Are you a KC Native? I grew up in Liberty and live in Blue Springs, MO.
Favorite KC BBQ? I like Smokehouse in Independence, MO. Burnt ends are my go-to barbeque order.
Any other favorite food? Anything Mexican. I like tacos and chimichangas.
Tell us a little about your family. I'm married to Doug, and we have three kids. My oldest daughter is 24 and works for Lockton, my son is 22 and completing his business degree, and my youngest daughter is 16 and preparing to spend her junior year of high school in Denmark.
What are some of your hobbies? I like to do outside work like landscaping. We recently finished the landscaping of the yard for the house we built last year. I also like to crochet. I usually make cat blankets because we have several cats that we have rescued.
How do you like to give back to the community? With my love of cats, I have volunteered at Petsmart cleaning cat cages and helping with adoptions.
Favorite sports team? I love to watch sports that my kids are playing.
Why did you join the team at InStore Design Display? I always thought that if I had an opportunity to work outside of the printing industry, I would like to explore it. When I heard about an opening at IDD, I was intrigued. In IDD's project management role, I get to continue to coordinate and facilitate jobs that involve kitting, which is what I enjoy doing. I like how helpful and nice people are at IDD. Everyone seems to want to help everyone else succeed.
