Join us in welcoming Patrick Graham to our team as Senior Account Director. Pat brings a wealth of knowledge from all aspects of the display industry where he’s worn just about every hat—from cabinetmaking to engineering, manufacturing, selling displays, and then buying them. With his warm, jovial style and deep insights into how to best display products, Pat is an ideal addition to IDD as we expand into new markets.

Here’s a bit more about Pat, in his own words.

Tell us about yourself! Where are you from?

I’ve lived and worked in Columbus, Ohio, for most of my life, except for eight years in the Ft. Myers, FL area when I worked for Chico’s. My roots are Irish on my father’s side, and being a member of the Columbus Irish community has shaped much of my life.

What are your hobbies outside of work?

I’m an active member in the Shamrock Club of Columbus and a past President. In addition to marching in the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade, you’ll find me at the club playing darts and listening to Irish music. I love listening to live music, both Irish and jazz. My grandmother got me hooked on jazz as a kid by frequently playing her recording of Glen Miller’s “In the Mood.”

At home, you’ll find me playing frisbee and ball with my German shepherd, “Ella.” I'm just trying to tire her out, because she's good when she’s tired! I also tinker around the yard—power washing, re-sodding my lawn, fixing things.

Saturdays in the fall, I watch a lot of college football with The Ohio State University Buckeyes as my favorite team. And when the weather turns, I like to read. “Forever,” a book about an Irish immigrant, is currently by my reading chair. Since my father passed, I also enjoy being my mom's frequent dinner companion.

Tell us about your work experience and the clients you’ve worked with in previous roles.

I've seen about every side of the display business from making cabinets, running manufacturing, selling fixtures, buying them, and now selling them again.

When Chico’s recruited me to jump from the sell side to the buy side, I became their senior director of procurement for their new store builds. It was an opportunity to work with someone who had been my customer and to build a team to procure store fixtures, visual displays, as well as the lighting, flooring, fabrics, furniture, wall coverings, and storefronts. In my six years with Chico’s, I also oversaw the permitting department and facilities management of the 1,200+ store fleet.

At Chico’s, I managed all the vendors for four brands and balanced each of their schedules for design and construction. I lived through the challenges most retailers face, which makes me excited to develop and deliver display solutions that really work.

What drew you to InStore Design Display?

Everyone I met at IDD had an enthusiasm and passion for the business and the people in it, which really caught my attention. I'm excited to help expand awareness of IDD’s capabilities in custom retail display and environment design, manufacturing, delivery, and installation so that retailers and brands know the kind of partner we can be as they reimagine and roll-out exceptional store experiences.
